Review: If I could give my doctor, Dr Gary Vela 5 stars I would but the protocol of this clinic could be better. I was originally scheduled for surgery for 3/1/24 but was only called once, a month before my surgery date to let me know we would need to reschedule because the doctor would not be in that day. I did miss the phone call but no voicemail was left. I was in communication regarding something else with them after this but no heads up was given that I would need to move my surgery date. I was finally notified just 10 days before my supposed to be surgery date. I had to make a bunch of arrangements and pay to do so since everything was on a short notice. After surgery I would say the after care could be better. I think this clinic just has a high volume of patients because I called regarding concerns of my after care for my incisions but was called a week after I reached out. (was told I would receive a phone call later that day) I also don't remember being given proper instructions besides a piece of paper explaining some stuff vaguely. If you are flying in, I highly suggest sticking around more than 5-7 days if for any reason you would need to follow up with your doctor. Dr did a good job. Just wish the communication and after care was more detailed.
